The build quality fit and finish surpass Ferrari, Aston Martin and Porsche and the twin turbo V12, the same basic motor as in the Pagani, is incredibly powerful and can be chip tuned for truly epic levels of performance. The attention to detail is truly stunning.While Mercedes built just over 169k R230 SL, amazingly for the entire world they only produced 4,106 V12 SL. During the production run red interiors were unusually rare and it is estimated globally Mercedes produced approximately 200 SL V12 cars with a classic silver exterior and a traditional red interior.
