Body And PaintThe body shows well with even door gaps and excellent panel fitment. Due to the high quality restoration, the paint shows nicely, deep, but with minor imperfections noted such as minor inconsistencies in the finish near the hood scoop. Minor aging in the form of paint shrinkage is occurring near the emblem on the front of the car. Additionally the edge of the hood on the passenger side there are also some minor inconsistencies in the paint as photoed. Overall the cars shows well, is highly presentable but with minor imperfections that come with the age of the restoration.Glass And TrimSome of the glass shows as likely being the original and some has been replaced. The windshield is a replacement, and shows a minor scrape from the windshield wiper on the drivers side. The drivers side vent window also shows some minor scratches as does the rear window and passenger vent window. All of the brightwork show as new, with the only imperfection to note being the headlight bezel. The window trims show some aging as original, but has been polished and preserved. Lastly, the rubber appears to be newer as well with no cracking or dry rot.WheelsThe Boranni's show as restored with minor curbing found on the passenger-side wheels.INTERIORSeats And SurfacesThe seats are in very nice condition with only minor creasing from use as expected. No cracks in the steering wheel, or dash with both showing nicely. While the gauges and accessory knobs show a combination of old and original but also restored, likely replaced as needed during the restoration. Carpets are also new, as well as the kick panels, door panels etc... all matching the rest of the restoration overall. Headliner may be the preserved original.Functionality And AccessoriesDuring our test of the various accessories everything worked at the time of testing.ENGINE BAY AND TRUNKEngine BayNeat and tidy showing as nicely restored. Done well, but perhaps not to perfect original standards in terms of little correctness items, such as coatings/colors etc... Appearance wise it shows well, is clean and appears nicely refurbished to a high driver level.Trunk AreaComplete with Spare, tool roll, and knock off hammer. Nicely finished with carpeting, appearing correct. Removing the carpet and paneling the metal work looks good with no indication of any accidents or major rust present or previously. All of the rubber seals in this area are also new and supple.MECHANICALSEngineThe car starts easily with a few pumps of the throttle, and settles down to a nice idle when warm. Runs and drives well with good oil pressure, with no overheating even during minor stints in traffic. A healthy exhaust note is present at all times with no smoking or issues noted.TransmissionThe 4-speed transmission shifts smoothly with good clutch operation. The clutch hydraulics, and clutch have little use and feel nearly new with no issues noted in the shifting operation of the car.Brakes And SuspensionBraking is effective, no chattering, or indication of any major issues, braking effectively but with a little bit of pulling under heavy braking.TiresCurrently fitted with period correct style Michelin Type X 165X400 showing as essentially new and with the car since the time of restoration.
